MIDIChords.com is a site where you can browse, play and download free MIDI chord progressions. Once you got them on your computer you are pretty much free to do whatever you want with it (even use it commercially).

Just make sure to check back regularly as new chord progressions are added constantly. Actually, you can even share your own progressions with other members, comment on chord progressions, add them to your favourites, email them to your friends, etc. We're sure that you'll find many things of interest on MIDIChords.com. Everything music theory, everything MIDI.

The reason the chord progressions are in MIDI format (and not MP3 for example) is that you can pretty much import such files in any digital audio workstation (DAW) and even play them directly in your (windows) media player.

MIDIChords.com wants to be a resource for composers and our MIDI files are a perfect way to get started on your new composition.

Have a good chord progression to share? Submit it using the 'submit chord progression' form (you have to signup first though)! Your username will show and you can even include a URL of your choice. Other members will not only listen to, rate and download the progression you submitted, they may also pay your site a visit.
